About
The Newtones is a student-run co-ed a cappella group at Newton South High School. We were founded in 1998 by a group of young and talented musicians. Originally, we were a school club until we transitioned to become a completely student-run group!
Every year, we compete at the International Championship of High School A Cappella (ICHSA) and put on Winter Warmer and Acafest - our mid and end of the year concerts. |
We love Christmas caroling during the holidays in the Greater Boston area and dancing to music or no music at all. We enjoy eating burritos and discussing whether or not wearing a Patriots jersey for the Super Bowl will increase the probability of winning. And Bubble Tea :)
